Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to join its float team serving outpatient clinics around Milwaukee. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on for full-time, 40 hours a week, with a generous benefits plan and flexible scheduling.

You will evaluate patients, develop and implement plans, educate patients and families, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team while ensuring documentation and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of employment.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Continuing education aligned with state standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate occupational therapy care and planning.
• Evaluate patients and create individualized care plans.
• Implement treatment and educate patients and caregivers.
• Set goals, monitor outcomes, and adjust plans as needed.
• Document evaluations, progress, and discharge plans accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and equipment.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in meetings.
• Support process improvements and coverage in a float role.
