Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is seeking an entry-level sonography/ultrasound professional to operate diagnostic imaging equipment and perform a range of examinations for adult and pediatric patients. The role supports cardiovascular assessments, including echocardiograms, and involves coordinating tests and documenting results.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and completion of an accredited sonography program; BLS certification and registry credentials are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and graduation from an accredited sonography program.
• None
• One year of relevant sonography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to examine tissue and body structures.
• Performs a variety of diagnostic sonographic examinations on adult and pediatric patients.
• Performs and assists with cardiovascular diagnostic procedures including adult echocardiograms, stress echoes, TEE, carotid ultrasounds, and PVR.
• Schedules and coordinates tests and maintains operational logs.
• Records test results and updates patient records for referring physicians.
