Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound procedures and related examinations while upholding patient safety and care standards. You will report to the Manager of Ultrasound and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Required: ARDMS/CCI certified sonographer with BLS; 0–1 year experience minimum, 1+ years preferred. Certifications in OB/GYN and vascular are listed options. TMH grows a diverse workforce committed to quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Sonography program.
• Must hold RDMS (AB/OB/GYN) or RT(S)/RT(VS) or CCI RVS certification.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and examinations with patient safety and comfort in mind.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to imaging protocols.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate exams and communicate findings.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

Graduate of an approved Sonography Program Registry, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Required Experience:

Minimum: Up to 1 Year Experience as a Sonographer is Required. Preferred: 1+ Years Experience as a Sonographer

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Required: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS(AB), RDMS(OB/GYN), RVT) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT(S), RT(VS)) Certification OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International RVS Certification; and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
