Located in Shoreline (north Seattle), our school community is a fantastic place to work for those seeking a caring, mutually-supportive workplace that is dedicated to best practices in Deaf Education. Our day school serves children who are deaf or hard-of-hearing (D/HH), preschool through 8th grade, and live within a 2-hour radius of our campus. Students wear amplification, are provided with DM/FM systems, and use simultaneous speech and S.E.E. to develop age-appropriate English and literacy. Class sizes are small, typically with 5 – 8 students in a homeroom grouping, served by a TOD and an interpreter/paraeducator.
