Job summary

A community-focused nonprofit is seeking a Sign Language Interpreter to provide American Sign Language interpreting through video and onsite at various locations. The ideal candidate will possess fluent ASL and spoken English language skills, with a strong understanding of Deaf culture. This role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to participate in rewarding community work. Candidates must be 18 years or older and able to demonstrate accurate interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at least two hours per quarter.
• Must pass the company’s interpreting skills assessment.
• Three to five years of experience in interpreting preferred but not required.

• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining respect and professionalism.
