ProCare Therapy is seeking an in-person Sign Language Interpreter to support a 9th grade student for the upcoming school year. This contract role involves one-on-one interpretation to help the student access classroom content and socialize with peers.
You will work with the student, a paraprofessional, and the educational team in both a self-contained resource room for part of the day and in general education settings for the remainder.

This contract opportunity offers an engaging experience working one-on-one with a deaf student who, while equipped with cochlear implants, depends greatly on fingerspelling and sign language to access classroom content and socialize with peers.
In this role, youll work closely with the student and educational teamincluding a dedicated paraprofessionalacross both a self-contained resource setting for three hours per day and a general education environment the remainder of the school day. Your ability to interpret seamlessly will be crucial in facilitating active classroom participation and helping the student excel both academically and socially.
