Job summary

A community college in California is seeking a skilled sign language interpreter to provide services for Deaf and hard of hearing students, faculty, and community members. Qualifications

  • Five (5) or more continuous years interpreting in the Deaf community.

  • Certification from RID or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide interpreting services for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
  • Interpret class lectures and meetings from English to ASL and vice versa.
  • Participate in various events and tutoring sessions.
