Salary Range: $25-$60 (depending on location, education, and certifications)


Location: Nebraska


Hours Requirement: Minimum of 10 hours of interpreting services per month (at leadership's discretion).

  • Ability to pass our skills assessment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred, but not required)
  • Interpreter certification
  • 3 years' interpreting experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to travel independently within the metropolitan area, with access to a vehicle, valid driver's license, and appropriate insurance

Candidates should demonstrate a broad range of language skills in ASL and English, and provide excellent customer service. All applicants must pass a skills verification screening.

  • Deaf interpreters will interpret between ASL, Tactile ASL, other visual communication forms, and written English
  • Follow Sorenson policies and NAD-RID Code of Conduct

  • Enhance skills through ongoing education and training
