Job summary

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess current certification by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc., Level III or above by the National Association of the Deaf (NAD), and/or 4.0 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA)
• Eligible to qualify for a 5-year Provisional Licensure through the New Mexico Sign Language Interpreting Practice Board. Provisional licensed interpreters should have already completed or have proof of plans to complete the EIPA Pre-Hire screening
• Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) License
• Provide accurate sign‑to‑voice and voice‑to‑sign interpretation/transliteration
