Job summary

Navra in Charleston, SC is seeking an American Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to support K-12 students in classrooms. This in-person role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 35–40 hours per week.

You will provide real-time ASL interpretation, collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure access to instruction, and maintain confidentiality and professional standards in all services.

Qualifications

• EIPA 3.1+ credential required.
• In-person availability Monday–Friday; 35–40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time ASL interpretation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom and school settings
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers to support full access to instruction and activities
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and student success
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards while documenting services as required
