Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interpreting/ASL/Deaf Studies & Deaf Education.
• National RID certification or ASLTA certification.
• Two years’ experience as a sign language interpreter.
• Experience teaching or training in continuing education/

Responsibilities

• Prepare & teach departmental courses including learner-centered lesson plans.
• Use diverse teaching strategies and materials for different learning styles.
• Incorporate current technology for classroom, online and lab environments.
• Maintain a quality, inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.
• Assess student outcomes and manage instructional materials and records.
