Job summary

FASTSIGNS Tulsa is seeking an Installer/Production Specialist to join our team. You’ll install and finish signs and graphics inside or outside, using a range of tools to assemble, erect and hang items at heights or on walls, vehicles, or ceilings.

Your days involve moving, lifting and building for diverse sign installations while adhering to safety and quality standards. Prior sign production/installation experience preferred; strong manual dexterity required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of sign production experience; install experience preferred.
• Able to lift heavy materials and work at heights.
• Proficiency with hand tools and equipment used in sign installation.
• Basic carpentry, electrical, or welding skills if applicable.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all offsite sign and print media installations.
• Assess environments for installation needs and techniques.
• Review job requirements and verify measurements before starting.
• Operate and maintain printers; finish by laminating or mounting pieces.
• Perform quality assurance by reading Work Orders and checking for errors.
• Report inventory levels and stock to the center/production manager.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.

FASTSIGNS Tulsa is hiring for an Installer/Production Specialist to join our team! As an Installer/Production Specialist, you'll play an important role in getting the finished sign or graphic in place so everyone can see it - in the ground, on a wall, on a vehicle or hanging from a ceiling. You'll use a variety of tools to assemble, erect and hang items, both inside and out. In fact, most of your days will be spent moving, lifting and building for a wide variety of sign installations.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Installer / Production Specialist Is:

• Responsible for all offsite sign and print media installations
• Able to assess an environment for the needs and techniques of the installation
• Reviews job requirements and verifies measurements before starting
• Able to work independently and with other team members when required
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
• Operate and maintain printer(s)
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
• Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
• Clean and maintain storage areas

Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Installer:

• Clean driving record
• 18 years of age or older
• 1-2 years of experience in sign production. Experience in install preferred
• Previous experience in sign installation, construction, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools and equipment used in sign installation.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices.
• Basic carpentry, electrical, or welding skills, if applicable.
• Scissor lift and bucket truck experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• Comfortable working at heights, such as ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
