Job summary

Young Electric Sign Company in Helena, Montana is hiring a Sign Installer to install and service exterior and interior signs on site. You will follow blueprints, set layouts, transport materials, and assemble signs using power tools and heavy equipment with attention to safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of construction experience, NEC knowledge, LED signaling expertise, and a valid Class B CDL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Knowledge of NEC electrical codes and LED signaling systems.
• Valid Class B CDL license and welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders; strong math skills.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reviews blueprints, identifies and prepares necessary materials and supplies for sign installation.
• Determine layout and installation procedures and measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Drives trucks to transport sign materials to installation sites and load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
• Assemble and install products utilizing hand and power tools, operating heavy equipment.
• May require scaffolding erection and other work platforms.
• Performs maintenance and repair to existing signs.
• Completes paperwork for installations and service work.
• Follows all safety guidelines and regulations.
• Obtains completed work sign-off from customers.
