Job summary

MSU Federal Credit Union is seeking a Sign Installation Coordinator in Lansing to coordinate installation activities, perform quality checks, and ensure timely preparation of products for installation. The role requires independence, hands-on work, and collaboration with a small team to deliver high-quality signage.

minimum requirements include a high school diploma, valid MI driver’s license, and experience in construction or skilled trades.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and Michigan Medical Card for Chauffer’s License.
• Experience in construction or a skilled trade is preferred.
• Strong customer relations, service skills, and a positive & patient attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand written job instructions.
• Participate in daily work start meeting.
• Review job tickets and schedule installation.
• Coordinate installations and update the Google Installation Calendar.
• Work with Production Manager to ensure products are complete and ready for installation.
• Perform final quality control to ensure job requirements and safety standards are met.
• Assist Installation Site Supervisor to ensure timely completion.
• Manage installation tools and vehicle fleet; coordinate maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Conduct site surveys for feasibility and quoting information.
• Read blueprints to ensure proper signage installation.
