Job summary

YESCO is seeking a Sign Installation Journeyman in Idaho Falls to install new signs and service existing ones. You will review blueprints, prepare materials, and transport supplies to sites, loading and unloading as needed.

• Knowledge of electrical installation (NEC codes) and LED lighting systems.
• Excellent basic math skills.
• Valid Class B CDL license; clean MVR.
• Welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Install new signs and service existing signs.
• Review blueprints and prepare materials and supplies.
• Transport materials and load/unload trucks; operate heavy equipment.
• Assemble and install using hand and power tools.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor or Lead, installs new signs and services existing signs efficiently and within budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews blueprints, identifies and prepares necessary materials and supplies for sign installation Determine layout and installation procedures and measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations Drives trucks to transport sign materials to installation sites and load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment Assemble and install products utilizing hand and power tools, operating heavy equipment May require scaffolding erection and other work platforms Performs maintenance and repair to existing signs Completes paperwork for installations and service work Follows all safety guidelines and regulations Obtains completed work sign-off from customers

MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleans and maintains equipment Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned
