Job summary

Matthews Signs LLC, a Sacramento-area sign installation company, is seeking a Commercial Sign Installation Helper. The role involves assisting with material handling, loading/unloading, and supporting the installation and removal of electrical signs.

Candidates should be able to work a full-time schedule, pass safety requirements, and be available for occasional overnight travel. A valid driver’s license and readiness to relocate to the Sacramento area are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Comfortable working at heights and able to travel for overnight stays when required.
• Able to follow safety procedures consistently.

Responsibilities

• Aid with unloading, loading, and transport of signs and materials to the installation site.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Aid with unloading, loading, and transport of signs and materials to the installation site.
• Assist with the installation of electrical signs.
• Help with the maintenance and removal of signs.
• Handle signs, materials, tools, and equipment.

Job Requirements

• Must be flexible with work schedule
• Proficient in English recommended

• Reliably commute to Sacramento, CA 95826 (or plan to relocate before starting work)

Schedule:

• Full time with the possibility of overtime
• Typical day shift with some very early morning starts or nighttime work
• Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
• Some out-of-town work with travel and overnight stays.
