CROSS X SB AND S INC in Plano, TX is looking for a motivated Sign Crew Trainee to join our growing team. This entry-level role offers hands-on learning of the sign installation trade and a path to a rewarding career in the industry.

You'll work with experienced crew members on installation, repair, and removal of commercial signage, learn mounting techniques and safety practices, and build your skills on exciting projects in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to job site safety.
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced sign crew with the installation, repair, and removal of commercial signage.
• Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision of crew leads.
• Help with loading, unloading, and transporting sign materials and equipment.
• Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines on job sites.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work vehicles and job sites.
• Learn sign mounting techniques, electrical basics, and hardware installation.
