Signarama Silver Spring is seeking a skilled Sign Manufacturer Welder to join our production team. You will weld and fabricate metal components for custom signs, reading blueprints and ensuring structural integrity while maintaining a safe workspace.

The ideal candidate has proven welding experience in signage fabrication, proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, and a keen eye for detail. Strong collaboration with designers and production is essential, with opportunities for advancement

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Manufacturer Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal components used in the production of custom signs, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and structural integrity. The role requires the ability to work with various materials, follow blueprints and design specifications, and maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate metal components for custom signs, including frames, support structures, and decorative elements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications to accurately assemble and weld components.
• Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick) and tools, ensuring precision and quality in every weld.
• Measure, cut, grind, and prepare metal materials for welding and assembly.
• Ensure the final product meets company standards for durability, aesthetics, and safety.
• Collaborate with designers and production team to achieve desired results within specified timelines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment, ensuring safe and proper operation.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of protective equipment and adherence to safety regulations.
• Keep a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and maintained.

Work Environment

• Full-time, on-site position.
• The work environment involves exposure to various welding gases, noise, and temperatures, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• May require overtime during peak production periods.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience.
• Health benefits, retirement plans, and other company perks may be offered.
• Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
