Sign Fabrication Operator - Alphagraphics

Join us as a Sign Fabrication Operator - Alphagraphics at AlphaGraphics Rexburg.

Overview

This role involves sign fabrication and installation, including channel letter and 3D lighted signs, vehicle wraps, and vinyl signs. The position requires specific sign fabrication and installation experience and entails working within our sign fabrication department, which also includes a dedicated installation team. Please do not apply without relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing operations such as trimming, mounting, and laminating to prepare prints for installation.
• Install signage throughout Utah, which may include overnight and multi-day travel.
• Coordinate with sales, management, and clients to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
• Manage on-site installation challenges with effective problem-solving and professionalism.
• Maintain tools and equipment for installation, ensuring they are in good condition.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards.
• Set up and monitor machines and work areas before and during production runs.
• Follow safety procedures and production schedules for efficient workflow.
• Perform additional tasks such as customer service, shop maintenance, data entry, and deliveries as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in sign fabrication and installation.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to understand production workflows.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow SOPs.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform bending and reaching tasks.
• Adherence to safety protocols, especially when working at heights.

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Onsite, full-time position with hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Wage range: $25-$32 per hour, based on experience.
• Potential signing bonus for UL Certified candidates.
• Travel may be required, including occasional Saturdays and evenings.
