Job summary

Royston Group in Bell Gardens, CA is hiring an Assembler - First Shift (5:00 am to 1:30 pm) to assemble sign components, metal frames, and related materials according to shop drawings and work orders.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious and eager to work hands-on in manufacturing and fabrication, with opportunities to develop skills in sign manufacturing and metal fabrication.

Qualifications

• Dependable and detail-oriented candidate.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow PPE rules.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal frames, sign structures, hardware, and related components according to shop drawings, specifications, and work orders.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and production documents.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and other shop equipment safely and effectively.
• Measure, align, fit, fasten, and secure components to ensure accurate assembly.
• Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit, alignment, finish, dimensions, and functionality.
• Follow established production procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Work cooperatively with assembly, fabrication, production, and supervisory teams to meet production schedules and deadlines.
