Job summary

YESCO in Phoenix, Arizona seeks an Electronics Service Apprentice to perform service, installation and maintenance of sign equipment, and to troubleshoot reported issues at customer sites.

You will assist with installing equipment, review service orders, and ensure safety and quality during field service while developing core electrical and welding skills in a hands-on apprenticeship program with YESCO. The role involves physical work, lifting, and occasional driving to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Up to six years of experience in service or repairs, power tool operation, welding, electrical, or related areas.
• Enrollment in YESCO or another authorized apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply specification documents and safety rules.
• Ability to move, lift, and carry materials and completed projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing equipment at customer sites to ensure full functionality.
• Review reports and work orders from customers and night patrol.
• Inspect malfunctioning product to determine problem scope.
• Troubleshoot and repair sign equipment and structures.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting to ensure sign functionality.
