The role focuses on developing, optimizing, monitoring, and maintaining complex SIGINT systems, analyzing data and signals, troubleshooting issues, and supporting analytical tool development in fast-paced, 24/7 environments.

Qualifications

• Three years of demonstrated experience in SIGINT development analytic support.
• Within the last five years, at least three years of experience with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching networks, and/or internet communications.
• Experience analyzing technical data to identify patterns for system improvement.
• Knowledge of data and voice communications technologies, including DNR, DNI, and advanced IP-based systems.
• Experience researching and analyzing complex telecommunications networks and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with SIGINT collection tools, analytical applications, and associated databases.
• Experience developing analytical techniques, documenting findings, and supporting technical research.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support system monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational restoration activities.
• Ability to work rotating eight-hour shifts in a 24/7/365 operational environment.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $115,000-$195,000, depending on experience.

The SIGINT Development & Discovery Analyst will provide technical and analytical support for the development, optimization, monitoring, and maintenance of complex SIGINT systems and collection capabilities. This role focuses on analyzing communications technologies, evaluating system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting the development and improvement of analytical tools and processes.

The SIGINT Development & Discovery Analyst will work with data and voice communications technologies, including DNR, DNI, modern digital and optical telecommunications systems, telephony switching networks, and advanced IP-based technologies. Responsibilities include analyzing technical data, identifying communication patterns, evaluating system functionality, troubleshooting dataflow issues, and supporting the optimization of existing collection systems and analytical capabilities.

This individual will also collaborate with technical teams, analysts, and stakeholders to resolve system issues, support system monitoring and maintenance, and improve operational processes. Depending on experience level, responsibilities may include front-end collection support, technical troubleshooting, dataflow analysis, documentation, training, stakeholder coordination, and recommendations for system enhancements. These positions require individuals comfortable working in fast-paced technical environments, including systems requiring continuous operational availability.

Our minimum requirements for these roles:

SIGINT Development Analyst – Level 1

• Three (3) years of demonstrated experience in SIGINT development analytic support.
• Within the last five (5) years, at least three (3) years of experience with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching networks, and/or internet communications.
• Experience analyzing technical and communications data to identify patterns and opportunities for system improvement.
• Knowledge of data and voice communications technologies, including DNR, DNI, and advanced IP-based systems.
• Experience researching and analyzing complex telecommunications networks and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with SIGINT collection tools, analytical applications, and associated databases.
• Experience developing analytical techniques, documenting findings, and supporting technical research.

SIGINT Development Analyst – Level 2

• Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in SIGINT development analytic support.
• Within the last seven (7) years, at least five (5) years of experience with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching networks, and/or internet communications.
• Experience supporting and optimizing SIGINT collection systems and associated analytical capabilities.
• Experience working with data and voice communications technologies, including DNR, DNI, and advanced IP-based systems.
• Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system.
• Experience supporting front-end collection systems, including survey systems, DNR/DNI collection, and dataflow.
• Experience troubleshooting system issues, identifying dataflow discrepancies, and restoring operational functionality.
• Experience supporting FORNSAT collection systems and technologies.
• Familiarity with FOP configuration and collection system maintenance.
• Ability to follow established standard operating procedures and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Ability to work rotating eight-hour shifts, including day, swing, and midnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Integrated Discovery Analyst – Level 3

• Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in SIGINT development analytic support.
• Within the last ten (10) years, at least five (5) years of experience with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching networks, and/or internet communications.
• Experience supporting SIGINT discovery activities and evaluating existing collection capabilities.
• Experience analyzing DNR, DNI, and advanced IP-based communications technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting collection systems, network connectivity, and dataflow issues.
• Experience evaluating technical capabilities, system requirements, and opportunities for collection improvements.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders, technical teams, and collection managers.
• Experience providing technical guidance, communicating system capabilities, and training analysts on available tools and technologies.
• Experience reviewing collection configurations, evaluating system performance, and recommending technical improvements.
• Experience identifying and resolving issues involving dataflow, processing, and data quality.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with FORNSAT collection systems and technologies.
• Experience with FOP configuration and front-end collection tools.
• Familiarity with SIGIN, ELINT, PROFORMA, and XKS.
• Experience developing technical documentation, training materials, and operational procedures.
• Experience supporting SIGINT systems in a 24/7/365 operational environment. T development tools, analytical applications, and databases.
• Completion of the Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450).
• Completion of the Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451).
• Experience scripting with Bash, Shell, and/or Python.
• Experience with Apache NiFi and dataflow management.
• Knowledge of network protocols, telecommunications infrastructure, and IP-based communications.
• Experience with FISINT
