Position Overview

The Johns Hopkins Sightline Business Modernization Project is seeking a Sightline Testing Team ERP Manager to oversee testing strategy, execution, and reporting for Workday applications. This role requires expertise in Workday (or similar ERP) functionalities, testing methodologies, and project management. The successful candidate will lead a team of testing coordinators, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure efficient testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Workday testing coordinators.
2. Develop and implement testing strategies and plans for Workday modules.
3. Create and oversee test cases, scripts, and data for functional, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
4. Collaborate with analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to align testing with business needs.
5. Manage defect tracking and resolution processes.
6. Identify and implement process improvements in testing methodologies.
7. Provide testing progress reports and metrics to management.
8. Facilitate training on testing processes, tools, and Workday functionalities.

Environment & Scale

Supports a complex environment with 70+ servers, supporting over 60,000 users across HR, finance, materials management, grants, and other functions, interfacing with 450+ systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 10 years of senior-level experience in IT and business practices.
• Experience in testing management, preferably with Workday or similar systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with full software development lifecycle.
• Workday certification and familiarity with testing functionalities.
• Kainos experience.

Additional Information

• Work hours are primarily day shifts with potential off-hours for project needs.
• Position manages a team of Senior and junior Testing Engineers.
• Salary range: $98,200 - $171,900 annually, commensurate with experience.
• Hybrid work schedule: on-site 1-2 days/week.
• Includes comprehensive benefits package.
