Job summary

Sierra Pacific Tours, locally owned since the 1970s, is hiring a Route Driver to operate campus shuttle service starting August 19, 2026. The position begins and ends in San Jose, CA with a schedule from 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM.

Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour, with full-time benefits including PTO and holiday pay, plus opportunities for advancement through training and development. Required qualifications include a valid Class A or B CDL with passenger and air-brake endorsements,

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with passenger and air-brake endorsements.
• Minimum 5 years commercial driving experience.
• Clean driving record and current Medical Certificate.
• Successful background check and pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; punctual and professional appearance.
• Ability to start/end shift in San Jose, CA and reliably commute.

Compensation

Required Qualifications (must have)

• Valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license with passenger and air‑brake endorsements
• Minimum 5 years commercial driving experience — PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT HELD A VALID COMMERCIAL DRIVER’S LICENSE FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS
