Job summary

Siemens S7-1500 commissioning engineer for DCIS in Rapid City, SD. On-site contract with travel support. Approx four months; start date and schedule to be confirmed; 50 hours/week, five 10-hour days.

Responsibilities include verifying equipment installation, supporting startup procedures and turnover, and tracking work through startup and operation. Qualifications: hands-on Siemens S7-1500, engineering degree, 3+ years in power-plant startups; OSHA 10 preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Siemens S7-1500 experience required.
• Availability for on-site schedule and assignment duration.
• Engineering degree with 3+ years of relevant power-plant startup experience; OSHA 10 training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify equipment installation and testing against design and startup requirements.
• Support startup procedures, documentation, system walkdowns and turnover.
• Track outstanding work and coordinate assigned systems through startup and operation.
