Job summary

Gasbarre Products, in DuBois, PA, seeks a Controls Engineer to lead Siemens-based control system development, programming, and support across equipment lines. You will convert legacy Mitsubishi and Rockwell controls to Siemens and own platform lifecycle management.

The role requires expertise in PLC/HMI programming, electrical schematics, and field startup support, with up to 25% travel. A bachelor’s in electrical engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience developing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting Siemens PLC/HMI platforms required.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley controls is a plus.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, BOMs, and functional documentation.
• Experience with industrial equipment and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, implement, and support Siemens-based PLC and HMI control systems for Gasbarre equipment.
• Lead conversion of existing machine controls from Mitsubishi and Rockwell to Siemens architecture.
• Create and maintain electrical BOMs and control narratives.
• Develop machine-to-machine communication strategies for integrated production systems.
• Provide startup, troubleshooting, and field support at customer facilities.
