Job summary

Apex Systems, LLC is seeking a SIEM Analyst to coordinate requirements for data bifurcation to CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and validate bandwidth and proxy capacity for log data ingestion. The role focuses on ensuring US-specific log data migration and integration with security tools and centralized logging solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon, ONUM, Splunk ES, CRIBL, and other SIEM-related technologies, along with knowledge of NIST CSF and

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and validating SIEM data ingestion.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF and FFIEC CAT is a plus.
• Knowledge of log source onboarding and centralized logging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of requirements to support data bifurcation to CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM.
• Coordinate validation of bandwidth and Proxy capacity for log data ingestion to SIEM.
• Validate proper migration of log data for US-specific requirements (FRB Apps, SOX/GLBA, DB logs, etc.).
• Experience with onboarding log sources to SIEM and centralized logging (Splunk, CRIBL, Syslog-NG).
• Familiarity with cyber security frameworks and regulatory guidance.

## Job Description# SIEM Analyst· Coordinate implementation of requirements to allow data bifurcation to CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM.· Coordinate validation of Internet/GSNet bandwidth requirements and Proxy capacity to support log data bifurcation form Ingestion layer to CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM.· Validate that required log data for US unique requirements are migrated properly. FRB Apps including SOX/GLBA, DB logs, Badge logs, PingFed, IBM API connect, etc.· Knowledge and experience in CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, ONUM, Splunk ES SIEM in Security Incident Event Management processes, Log source onboarding, Logging and Monitoring requirements· Knowledge and experience in a SIEM environment with common IT and Security Tools: CrowdStrike Falcon, ONUM, CRIBL, Firewalls, Proxy, DNS, VPN, Active Directory, Windows, Linux, etc.· Experience or familiarity with implementing and configuring log sources to report to SIEM and Centralized Logging and Monitoring Solutions including Splunk, CRIBL and Syslog-NG or equivalent products.· Familiarity with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cyber Security Framework and Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Cybersecurity Assessment Tool (CAT).Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
