Job summary

Capgemini in New York is seeking a Siebel Developer/Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on Siebel CRM experience to design, implement and extend Siebel solutions. You will work on configurations, UI, workflows, and external system integrations, using Java/Oracle.

You will collaborate with business users and IT teams, perform deployments, reviews, and ongoing maintenance, and ensure up-to-date Siebel practices. Capgemini offers a comprehensive benefits package and on-site work in NYC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on Siebel CRM development and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Siebel architecture, data model, configuration tools, and web services integration.
  • Experience with Siebel eScript, Workflow, Configuration, and EAI components.
  • Experience with Siebel Open UI and responsive design is desirable.
  • Ability to install, upgrade, migrate Siebel environments.

Job Description
Siebel certification is mandatory.
  • Design, develop, customize, and implement Siebel CRM solutions based on business requirements.
  • Perform Siebel application configuration, including workflows, business rules, UI customization, and integration with external systems.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Siebel configurations and customizations.
  • Manage and administer Siebel environments, including installation, upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts, and other IT team members to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving issues related to Siebel applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, user guides, and training materials.
  • Stay updated with Siebel CRM updates, patches, and new features, and recommend best practices for implementation.
  • Hands‑on experience of Java/Oracle is a must
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Siebel Developer/Administrator, with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in Siebel CRM development and administration.
  • Strong understanding of Siebel architecture, data model, configuration tools (Siebel Tools), and web services integration.
  • Proficiency in Siebel eScript, Siebel Workflow, Siebel Configuration, and EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) components.
  • Experience with Siebel Open UI and responsive design concepts is desirable.
  • Ability to perform Siebel environment installations, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a customer‑focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, in a fast‑paced environment.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 100,000 - 118,650.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
