Engelsma Homes in West Michigan is seeking an experienced Siding Installer to join our team. You will be responsible for exterior finishing, installing a variety of siding materials, and exterior trim with precision to meet high craftsmanship standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of siding installation experience, strong exterior carpentry skills, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to our culture of excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of siding installation experience.
• Strong exterior carpentry skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Install a variety of siding products (horizontal, board & batten, shakes) with precision.
• Install exterior trim components (window/door trim, soffit, fascia, frieze boards).
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure quality workmanship.
• Measure, cut, fit siding and trim for clean lines and proper alignment.
• Perform quality inspections to meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and team members to meet schedules.
• Assist other trades on site as needed.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners on-site.

In the role you will:

• Bring your 3–5 years of siding installation experience to expertly install a variety of products, including horizontal siding, board and batten, shakes, and specialty siding systems.


• Install exterior trim components including window and door trim, frieze boards, banding, soffit, fascia, and porch ceilings with precision and attention to detail.


• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and project specifications to ensure accurate installation and quality workmanship.


• Measure, cut, and fit siding and trim materials to achieve clean lines, proper alignment, and a flawless finished appearance.


• Perform quality inspections throughout installation to ensure all work meets company standards and project specifications.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site that supports efficient workflow and compliance with safety standards.


• Coordinate with subcontractors and other team members to ensure projects run smoothly and are completed on schedule.


• Support overall site organization and cleanliness while assisting other trades as needed on the job site.


• Communicate professionally with homeowners and clients on‑site, answering questions and providing guidance when appropriate.
