Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking an RN SICU Trauma to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced trauma environment. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to apply evidence-based practices and support families throughout the treatment journey.

Responsibilities include performing procedures, documenting care, and educating patients and families about conditions, plans, and follow-up.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of employment start date
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale within 6 months of employment start date
• RN licensure as a prerequisite
• RN Diploma/Registered Nurse qualification
• TNCC within 1 year of employment start date
• No travel required
• No prior years of experience required

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment, medications and follow-up measures.
• Explains non-medicinal follow-up measures like diet and exercise for self-management.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care plans and improve outcomes
