Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland is seeking a PCNA to provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). Day shifts run 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or must obtain during your new hire period.
• Nursing students: must have BLS prior to hire.
• Military experience as Hospital Corpman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN. Patient care may include vital signs, weight, assisting patients with daily living activities, transfers/transport, pulse oximetry, dressing changes, external monitoring devices and Foley catheter management.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to an RN.
• Assist with keeping patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
