Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to assess and manage diverse patient populations across ambulatory, inpatient, and operative settings. The PA delivers direct care, counseling, and teaching, with a focus on accurate documentation and evidence-based plans of care.

Responsibilities include histories, exams, tests interpretation, prescription writing, and bedside procedures, with rotating nocturnal shifts and a base location at 45 Francis Street.

Qualifications

• Master's degree as Physician Assistant is required.
• Licensing as Physician Assistant (State License) is required.
• Experience as a licensed PA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on diagnostic findings.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational policies.
• Provides high quality and timely documentation including admission, progress notes, procedure notes and discharge summaries.
• Performs bedside procedures as appropriate to the patient population.

Education

Master's Degree Physician Assistant

Licensing as Physician Assistant (State License)

Experience as a licensed PA preferred

Strong clinical examination and history-taking skills
