Job summary

Ascension Seton Williamson in Round Rock, TX is seeking a full‑time Physician Assistant for inpatient care. You will work with physicians and APPs to deliver comprehensive direct care to patients aged 15 and up, under physician supervision, in a nonprofit health system.

Roles include performing histories and exams, ordering diagnostics, and formulating treatment plans while ensuring high quality, evidence‑based care and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant program with master’s degree preferred.
• Active NCCPA certification and Texas licenses prior to start date.
• BLS provider certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive direct care by taking histories, performing exams and preventive screenings.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostics; develop treatment plans under physician supervision.
• Manage chronic conditions with direct interventions and detailed documentation.
• Counsel patients and families on prevention, pathways of care and community resources.
