WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown is seeking a night-shift Registered Nurse to deliver direct inpatient care using the nursing process. The role emphasizes safety, patient education, and effective collaboration within an interprofessional team.

The ideal candidate has a WV RN license, BLS, and up to 12 months' experience; BSN is preferred. This position supports growth through CAPE and ongoing competency development.

Formación

• Current Registered Nurse license in the service state or eNLC multi-state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Less than 12 months of RN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process and ensure safe, quality outcomes.
• Assess patient needs across life span and apply developmentally appropriate care.
• Document care, perform patient assessments, and use handoff tools for continuity.
• Provide education tailored to individual learning needs and family dynamics.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team and apply ANA code of ethics.
