Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a Shuttle Bus Driver for the winter season. Drive the resort vehicle according to license requirements, conduct pre- and post-trip checks, and ensure vehicles are clean and safe for guests.

You will share resort information with guests and participate in routine testing during the season. Expect to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with seasonal employment and awesome resort perks like ski passes and retail discounts.

Qualifications

• Driving a resort vehicle and maintaining safety standards.
• Customer service oriented with guest experience focus.

Responsibilities

• Driving the resort vehicle (license type-dependent).
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections and logging defects.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Provide informational literature about the resort.
• Participate in random drug and alcohol testing.
• Use radios per guidelines and etiquette.
• Adhere to established routes and provide guests with excellent service.

• Seasonal: Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year.


• Start Date: The end of November and beginning of December with positions available throughout the season.

Job Responsibilities

• Driving the resort vehicle (license type-dependent)


• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logging defects, and arranging repairs


• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment


• Being knowledgeable about the resort and providing informational literature


• Participating in random drug and alcohol testing


• Using radios according to guidelines and etiquette


• Adhering to established routes


• Providing excellent guest service as a tour guide


• Attending required meetings

Driving

• Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program


• Applicant is required to have and maintain a minimum of a class D commercial driver's license with Passenger endorsement.


• Must keep and maintain a valid medical card


• Must participate in a random drug and alcohol-testing program


• Must be 21 years of age
