Job summary

VETPRIDE SERVICES INC is seeking a Shuttle Supervisor to oversee Charleston operations at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. The role coordinates daily shuttle activities, supervises drivers, and ensures safety and contractual compliance.

Starting salary is $55,000 annually, with a $500 sign-on bonus. CDL with P endorsement and DOT medical certificate are required, along with strong customer service and organizational skills. This is a full-time on-site position in Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL driving with P endorsement is required.
• DOT Medical Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and schedule vehicle inspections, maintenance, and servicing; manage preventative maintenance schedules.
• Reduce unnecessary expenses and repairs.
• Secure the fleet’s compliance with applicable regulations.
• Report fleet performance and finances to upper management.
• Handle incident response for all fleet issues, accidents, defects related to vehicles, etc.
• Manage shuttle team.
• Properly schedule shuttle to stay within contracted hours on weekly basis.
• Assist in hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions of employees.
• Follow safe driving procedures and safety protocols at all times.
• Abide by all rules and regulations set by the VA.
• Conduct pre/post trip shuttle inspections prior to and after scheduled shift.
• Maintain shuttle in excellent condition by refueling, cleaning, and managing repairs/maintenance as needed.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Regional Manager and/or the Director of Operations.
• Uphold high standards of employees on site
• Perform other duties as assigned.
