Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire Shuttle Driver / Transporterin Atlanta GA! The Shuttle Driver / Transporter provides support to the service shop, including but not limited to vehicle transporting, shop cleanliness, parts pick up/delivery. This role could grow into a Parts Admin for those with strong skill set MS 365 / Office OR you can stay a Driver if you prefer transporter vehicles.

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!

Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00PM - 11:30PM

What the Shuttle Driver / Transporter role looks like:

• Transport vehicles
• Parts inventory management
• Fuel Fleet vehicles
• Perform light maintenance
• Perform pre/post trip inspections
• Replenishes vehicle with fuel, grease, fluids (oil, water, windshield cleaner), and air (tires) as
• needed
• Complete daily fueling logs
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
• Perform other duties as required

What our ideal candidate looks like:

• At least 1-2 years in automotive repair environment within a supportive role
• Mechanical Aptitude preferred, but not required
• Must have valid Drivers License
• Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers,
• supervisors, etc.)
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
• Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
• Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
• Ability to move and position heavy objects
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
