Job summary

SP+ in Omaha, NE is hiring a versatile parking/operations attendant. You will inspect vehicles, keep buses clean, log trips, and assist disabled passengers. A valid state driver’s license, good DMV history, and a DOT Medical Card are required. You may substitute for cashiers or valets and assist with shuttle duties at airports.

Maintain a neat uniform, arrive on time, and lift up to 75 pounds as part of daily duties. Compensation includes tips and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or 1 month related experience.
• License: Valid state driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record.
• DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
• Availability to work: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Language: Ability to read/write simple instructions and present information to customers.
• Math: Basic addition/subtraction with US currency.
• Appearance: Neat/clean, uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands: Stand/walk, lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors, fueling of buses, logging trip counts and assisting disabled passengers.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license to be carried with driver, at all times, while on duty.
• Maintains acceptable DMV record.
• Assist customers by answering questions or directing to the Facility Manager.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills, and other hazards to garage office.
• Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when necessary.
• Know garage areas and major streets/landmarks.
• Assist customers with luggage; operate shuttle buses if applicable.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
