Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Van Driver/Shuttle associate to provide transportation for hotel guests and support daily operations. You will transport guests to and from airports and various destinations, assist with luggage, and maintain hotel vehicles while delivering professional service.

The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, a valid license, and a friendly, guest-focused approach. This is a safety-sensitive, part-time role with opportunities to grow in a hotel

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Excellent driving record as verified by a Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate hotel vehicles, vans, limousines, or automobiles as required.
  • Knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, area events, and guest transportation needs preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, associates, and hotel leadership.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and follow written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.
  • Strong attention to safety, service, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport guests to and from the airport, hotel, and other assigned destinations while following all traffic laws and hotel safety procedures.
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, packages, and shuttle doors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide guests with directions, local information, hotel details, and general assistance as needed.
  • Respond to guest questions, concerns, and service needs with hospitality, urgency, and professionalism.
  • Communicate guest feedback, issues, or complaints to management to support timely resolution and outstanding guest service.
  • Refuel, inspect, clean, and help maintain the hotel vehicle daily, including reporting mechanical concerns or safety issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot, shuttle area, and public areas during downtime, including removing trash and recycling as needed.
  • Report lost and found items, suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and maintenance concerns to management promptly.
  • Support the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams as needed to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Complete special assignments and projects as requested by hotel leadership.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with standard operating procedures and in a safe, accident-free manner.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Van Driver/Shuttle associate, you will help create a positive guest experience by providing safe, reliable transportation and assisting with hotel support tasks that keep operations running smoothly.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, driving, and assisting guests with luggage or packages. Candidates should be able to lift, push, or move at least 30 pounds and occasionally more than 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Excellent vision, depth perception, color vision, and hearing are required to safely operate vehicles in city street and expressway conditions. Work may be performed indoors, outdoors, and in or around vehicles, with exposure to weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, or humid environments. The noise level is usually moderate. This is a safety-sensitive position.
