We are looking for someone who understands that providing transportation to older adults requires more than good driving skills. It requires patience, dependability, kindness, and a genuine desire to serve others.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous professional driving, senior living, hospitality, transportation, or customer-service experience preferred.

  • A strong commitment to safe and defensive driving practices.
  • Ability to successfully complete required motor vehicle record and other applicable pre-employment screening.
  • Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with older adults.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Patience and the ability to provide assistance without rushing residents.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow schedules, directions, and established procedures.
  • Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to unexpected situations.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule based on resident and community needs, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
How We RISE

Our values guide how we care for our residents and how we represent Unbridled Living in our communities.

RESPECT – We treat every resident with dignity, patience, and kindness. We recognize individual needs and preferences and provide assistance in a way that supports each resident's independence.

INTEGRITY – Safety comes first. We follow transportation procedures, obey traffic laws, accurately complete required documentation, and take responsibility for the residents and vehicles entrusted to our care.

SERVANT LEADERSHIP – We look for opportunities to help. Whether assisting a resident into the vehicle, carrying a package, or helping make an outing more enjoyable, we understand that exceptional service is often found in the little things.

EXCELLENCE – We take pride in providing safe, reliable, timely, and professional transportation. We maintain our vehicles and continually look for ways to make every resident's experience exceptional.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and frequently enter and exit the vehicle. The position may also require standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and assisting with mobility devices, packages, and other items associated with resident transportation.

The Shuttle Driver must possess the physical ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Why Join Unbridled Living?

You may be taking a resident to an appointment, driving a group to lunch, helping someone with their groceries, or transporting residents to a special community outing. Whatever the destination, the experience begins with you.

We are looking for someone residents can count on—a driver who is safe and dependable, but also someone who greets them with a smile, knows their name, and makes the journey as enjoyable as the destination.

If you take pride in helping others and are ready to RISE to every occasion, we would love to meet you.
