Job summary

SP+ Shuttle Driver role located in Newark involves safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers efficiently. You will answer questions, provide city directions, and ensure positive customer interactions while maintaining bus cleanliness and safety standards.

The position requires a valid state driver’s license, punctuality, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Training and uniform standards apply, with shifts including potential 3rd shift or weekends.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School or 1 month related experience.
• License: Valid state driver’s license with DMV record.
• Availability: May require 3rd shift, weekends depending on location.
• Language: Ability to read and write simple instructions.
• Physical: Lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain bus cleanliness; log trips and assist passengers.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and carry a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain knowledge of garage areas and major streets to assist customers.
• Assist with luggage; substitute for cashiers or valets when needed.
