Job summary

SP+ in Newark, NJ is hiring a Shuttle Driver to deliver safe, courteous transportation services at our parking locations. You will perform vehicle inspections, assist customers, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and comply with all safety policies while supporting the SP+ promise of exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires a valid driver license, reliable attendance, and the ability to work varying shifts. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License: Valid state driver's license with current address and an acceptable DMV record.
• Availability for special shifts, if any, will vary depending on location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by SP+ Promise.
• Performing vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors, fueling of buses, logging trip counts and assisting disabled passengers.
• Being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Possess a valid state-issued driver's license to be carried with driver at all times while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills to garage office.
• Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when necessary if authorized.
• Know all areas of the garage and major streets to assist customers.
• Assist customers with luggage and traveling items (airport shuttle operations).
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
