Job summary

Valet Park of America is seeking a part-time Shuttle Driver for Saturdays in Weston, MA. Routes are local with buses that do not require a CDL; CDL holders receive higher starting pay. Minimum age 20 with DOT medical card; MA Motorcoach certificate may be required.

Background checks and driving tests will be performed. Weekly payroll and company benefits apply. Non-CDL drivers start at $23/hour; CDL with P endorsement earn $24/hour to start.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons and assist them as needed.
• Safely shuttle customers to destinations.
• Open and close doors for patrons.
• Follow traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Communicate with customers, management, and co-workers via radio.
• Complete pre-trip inspections per safety requirements.
• Record passenger counts and trip times.
• Handle daily paperwork and operational tasks.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of equipment (signs, cones, etc.).
• Keep shuttles clean by sweeping and removing debris.
• Report mechanical issues to management.
• Comply with company shuttle procedures.

Salary Range: $23.00 To $24.00 Hourly

We are seeking shuttle drivers to work in Weston. These are steady, local routes transporting college students.

This position will be the busiest when college is in session, but we expect to have hours available during breaks as well.

We operate walk-on 14-passenger vehicles which do not require a CDL - however, if you have a CDL you get paid extra and are encouraged to apply! Drug testing, a DOT physical, and other compliance measures will be followed.

Non-CDL drivers earn $23/hour to start. Applicants who already have a CDL (w/ P endorsement) earn $24/hour to start.

VPA offers weekly payroll - get a check, direct deposit, or a pay card each week!

Currently, we are seeking

1 PT Driver will work on a fill-in basis weekdays, and also work Saturdays 10am-6pm.

Shuttle Driver- Job Description

The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can
• Safely shuttling customers to various destinations
• Opening and closing doors for patrons
• Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
• Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants
• Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
• Recording passenger counts and trip times
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
• Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.)
• Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
• Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
• Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations

Due to our insurance regulations, shuttle drivers must be at least 20 years old.

A valid DOT Medical card is also required. (We will pay for qualified applicants to obtain their medical card if necessary - a simple DOT physical). Obtaining a MA Motorcoach certificate (with our assistance) will be a condition of employment.

Professional driving experience is a plus.

Background checks and driving tests will be conducted.
