An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Shuttle Driver to operate vehicles in a visitor transportation system. This role involves transporting guests along designated routes, ensuring a positive experience through excellent customer service, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Texas CDL with passenger endorsement and have a strong commitment to safety and public relations. To operate one of the vehicles in the Grapevine Visitor Transportation Shuttle System.
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 21 years of age.
Position requires valid Texas Class B CDL Drivers License with passenger endorsement. No DWI (alcohol or drugs) convictions and no more than one moving violation in the last three years.
Must attend Defensive Driving classes as scheduled by the supervisor.
Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check, polygraph exam and credit check. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as defined by City policy.
Must pass a pre-employment DOT physical, DOT 5 panel drug screen and functional assessment screening (Level 1).
While performing the essential functions of this position the employee is exposed to disagreeable environmental factors. There will be some exposure to:
Safety equipment such as gloves, goggles, hard hats, safety vests, steel-toe boots, back support belts, and seat belts are provided and must be worn as required by department procedures and good safety practices.
