Shuttle Driver PM | Part Time

Location: Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa, Asheville, NC

Job Description

Transport hotel guests to designated locations within the resort. When not driving, greet guests at the resort entrance to create a welcoming first impression. Must be available to work until 1 AM.

Responsibilities

• Drive shuttle bus to designated destinations promptly
• Operate vehicle safely in various conditions, including bad weather and traffic
• Greet guests and assist with boarding
• Keep the vehicle clean inside and out
• Inspect the vehicle daily and report damages or safety issues
• Keep logs of vehicle maintenance and services rendered
• Create a memorable guest experience
• Maintain high standards of guest service (4-Star/4-Diamond)
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the front entrance
• Know emergency procedures and hotel amenities
• Understand Moments of Service scenarios

Qualifications

• Customer service-oriented attitude
• Must be 21 years or older
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Valid Class C North Carolina driver’s license
• Flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Ability to bend and lift heavy items
