Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of buses, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be punctual and in uniform for scheduled work days.
• Carry a valid state-issued driver’s license at all times while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Assist customers courteously, answer questions, and direct them to the Facility Manager if needed.
• Report accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate issues like debris, water, or oil spills to the garage office.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets if authorized and necessary.
• Know all garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the vicinity.
• Assist customers with luggage and operating shuttle buses at airport locations, if applicable.
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Less than high school diploma or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.

License: Valid driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

DOT Medical Card: Required.

Availability: May require working third shifts and weekends depending on location needs.

Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions; perform basic math; maintain a neat appearance; physical ability to stand, walk, handle cash, lift up to 75 pounds, and perform related duties.
