Job Description

A Driver (Non-CDL) for WeDriveU drives non-commercial vehicles following safety protocols, schedules, and pre-determined routes to transport corporate employees between various stops.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Exceptional attendance and punctuality.
• Accurately complete vehicle safety checks and report any issues.
• Comply with all traffic laws, and federal and state transit regulations.
• Interact with customers and our central dispatch team and managers in a professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to all riders, answering questions about schedules, routes, transfer points, and delays.
• Promptly report vehicle maintenance, road and route concerns, accidents, and other traffic disruptions using two‑way radios or hands‑free devices.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills Required and Physical Demands

• Use route navigation apps and other technology; know the area for pick-up and drop-off.
• Maintain electronic logs to track routes and incidents.
• Safely operate and drive for a minimum period of 1 hour 45 minutes without a break.
• Drive in fluctuating weather and terrain.
• Work flexible schedules, including outside of regular days and shifts.
• Work a split-shift schedule comfortably.
• Lift 45 pounds or more to assist with loading and unloading ADA passengers.
• Accommodate additional skills and physical demands as required.

Education and Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (preferred).
• At least 1 year of driving experience (preferred).
