Shuttle Driver

A Shuttle driver will enjoy transporting guests, patients, or employees between the Company’s properties and stop areas in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

1. Transport guests, patients, or employees between the Company’s properties and designated stop areas in a safe and efficient manner
2. Provide the highest level of customer service and assist passengers if necessary
3. Be knowledgeable and helpful to passengers and guests regarding schedules and services
4. Strictly follow the Company’s lost and found program
5. Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and in safe working condition; report any issues to the Manager; perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections using Company inspection forms and vehicle logs
6. Understand the company’s management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives, and fulfill responsibilities within these areas
7. Perform other duties as per the Duties Checklist and as assigned

Position Requirements

1. Superior customer service skills, strong communication skills, and a team player attitude
2. Ability to work various shifts including day, night, weekends, and holidays
3. Safety-oriented, attentive to traffic rules and company driver policies
4. Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check
5. Ability to pass a Medical DOT physical

This position is located at the GCMC facility in Scranton, PA.

Knowledge and Experience

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required

Valid driver’s license

Experience: At least six months in shuttle driving or passenger transportation
