Job summary

FINE Airport Parking in Houston, TX is seeking a Shuttle Driver for the second shift (2pm-10pm). You will be the primary guest touchpoint, driving safely, communicating clearly, and assisting with luggage to ensure on-time, welcoming service.

We value defensive driving, strong customer service, and reliability. The role requires a valid driver’s license, 23+ years old, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; prior shuttle/airport experience is a plus. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurability criteria with annual MVR review.
• Must be 23+ years old with at least 2 consecutive years licensed.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 lbs and negotiates stairs while performing duties.
• Must comply with the substance‑free policy and perform duties with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operate the shuttle defensively and within all traffic and airport rules.
• Protect passenger safety during boarding, riding, and exiting; no overcapacity.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and report mechanical concerns immediately.
• Communicate with Dispatch via radio; follow rotation and status updates.
• Communicate directions and safety updates to guests and teammates; English-based.
• Perform timely pick-ups/drop-offs; verify terminal/airline and locator practices.
• Load/unload luggage safely and remind about personal items.
• Execute lot/lobby/terminal rotation per SOP to maintain on-time service.
• Keep shuttle clean and guest-ready; complete fueling/cleaning and end-shift handoff.

Reports to: Shift Supervisor / Facility Manager
Status: Safety-Sensitive (all facility roles)

Hiring Need: Second Shift (2pm-10pm)

As a Shuttle Driver, you are our primary touchpoint with guests, shaping their experience through courteous driving, clear updates, and attentive help with luggage and wayfinding. You keep service on time while creating a calm, welcoming ride.

Essential Functions

• Operate the shuttle defensively and within all traffic and airport rules.
• Protect passenger safety during boarding, riding, and exiting; do not exceed capacity or allow standing passengers.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and required checklists, report mechanical concerns immediately.
• Communicate concisely with Dispatch over radio; follow rotation and staging instructions and announce key calls/status changes.
• Verbally communicate clearly with guests and teammates in person and over radio to provide directions, safety instructions, and timing updates while following professional radio standards, with or without reasonable accommodation. The primary operating language on shift is English.
• Perform timely, courteous pick-ups and drop-offs at designated zones; verify terminal/airline and use required locator/ticket practices.
• Load and unload luggage safely; offer reminders for personal items before departure.
• Execute lot, lobby, and terminal rotation per SOP to maintain on‑time service; escalated disruptions to supervision.
• Keep the shuttle clean and guest‑ready throughout the shift; complete fueling/cleaning and end‑of‑shift handoff steps.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficient and defensive driving.
• Strong customer service skills with professional verbal communication.
• Wayfinding and basic service recovery skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Shuttle, transit, or airport operations experience.
• Hospitality or customer‑service experience.
• Experience assisting guests with luggage handling.
• Basic mechanical awareness for identifying and reporting vehicle issues.
