Job description

Position: Shuttle Driver

Schedule: Open availability to work Mon - Sun from 11:00 pm - 7:00 am or from 3:00 pm to 12:00 am

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Location: 1825 Griffin Rd, Dania Beach, FL 33004

Requirements:

  • Must have HACK License and MEC
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • No experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
  • Preferred: One (1) year of prior experience as a passenger shuttle driver

Responsibilities:

  • Transport passengers to and from designated locations such as airports, hospitals, sports arenas, entertainment venues, educational facilities, or warehouses
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of passengers, including handling of specialized equipment for passengers with needs (e.g., wheelchair lifts and tie-downs)
  • Assist passengers with luggage as needed
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance activities
  • Assist patrons at airport locations and lots
  • Inspect shuttle for damages and record information
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond courteously to guest inquiries
  • Maintain safety procedures, including bus evacuation plans
  • Report incidents promptly to management
  • Refuel and maintain shuttle vehicles and logs
  • Keep shuttle clean and disinfected after each use
  • Conduct pre- and post-inspections to ensure safety and compliance
